KAIMATA

This stand is really nice. It's very sturdy, and the back and bottom of the the metal bracket that hold your iPad is padded so it doesn't scratch your device. The other nice feature is the stand makes it easy to run a charger to your iPad whether you have it sitting vertically or horizontally. It's very easy to change angles, but I did have to remove my iPad from its Maroo case in order to sit it in the cradle. It was too thick in the case, as the bottom of the bracket on the stand has a lip that actually hold the iPad in place and keeps it from falling forward easily. Overall, I'm am thrilled with my purchase and the quality of the stand!

The Kaimata stand is very stable. It will hold most tablets in a case, but my OtterBox is a little thick - I had to remove the cover over the plug so that it would fit on the stand properly - not a problem since I have to remove the cover to charge my iPad anyway. I also like the form-fitting, foam-lined area to lay an iPhone while it is charging - the bottom of the Kaimata has a channel to conveniently run a charging cable to the front of the stand to charge the phone - a nice touch. One thing to note, although the arm on the Kaimata is solid aluminum, the grip where the tablet rests is made out of plastic. It seems durable, but since the unit is tightly constructed I would recommend using a little care when adjusting angle of the tablet. Overall, it's the best stand I've owned.
