OK, Mashable, you got me

A couple of times a week I venture on to the geek sites like Mashable, Wired, and Engadget. Then there are the forums, god knows there are a ton of them out there. For months now, I have been trying to avoid the temptation of Mashable’s “Top Photo and Video Galleries.” Usually, I stay away from these. However, when you’re bored and the temptation is there, you breakdown.

The Library of Congress has recently announced that they’ll be opening to the public over 3 million music and spoken-word recordings. Called the National Jukebox Project, old, out of circulation recordings will be available for anyone to listen to and enjoy. The Library of Congress and Sony Music collaborated on the project.
