Voyurl: A Look Inside Your Browsing Habits

Monday, August 1, 2011 by cyberacoustics

I remember reading a study a few years ago where researchers asked people to report how much alcohol they drank in a week, then compared the self-reported answers with the number of bottles the research subjects actually put outside their house. The amount that people actually drank vs. the amount they initially reported were incredibly different. We’re not a truth-telling people, especially when it comes to habits we may be ashamed of.

Happy 30th Birthday to MTV

Tuesday, August 2, 2011 by cyberacoustics

I can’t believe it! 30 years ago this week, music videos could be viewed during the day instead of the wee hours of the morning. Thursday, August 25, 2011 by cyberacoustics

With Labor Day fast approaching, college campuses are starting to rumble with the stampede of students heading back. With each new freshman class one might think the challenge of making new friends might be the most difficult part of campus life, but a close second is figuring out which gadgets they’ll need to stay competitive.

Identity, the Internet and Google+

Wednesday, August 31, 2011 by cyberacoustics

I need to stop blogging about Google+. I know this, but it’s just so interesting to me to watch a gigantic company like Google roll out a product with so much fanfare and then continue to make gigantic blunders.
